Booked an “enclosed mesh pitch” with privacy screening, specifically for our fear reactive dog as clearly advertised. Shortly before arrival, we were told this hadn’t been offered for over a year and supposedly wasn’t advertised on the website — despite it being very clearly advertised and still appearing on the website.
No greeting / guidance upon arrival and poor response, or no response at all, from the number provided to call if there were any issues.
Bathrooms were poorly kept; no soap or toilet roll, and only 2 toilets for the entire campsite. Terrible washing-up facilities — just a single washing bowl.
The dog park is excellent to let your dog run free. I would think much larger than the average garden! It is also good for doing a little training where the reward is not just a little treat but a big area to explore and to run. Our whippet just runs and runs and runs.😊
